I joined the sea turtle co-ed LIFE group almost two months ago. I was praying about a small group to join and when the small group opened, I thought it was a good opportunity to build community with people my age who loved the Lord. My time of diving deep into the word with likeminded people has grown my desire to learn the word for myself. This group has also been an answer to a prayer that I have had for a while. Since moving to South Carolina 5 years ago, I haven’t had good community that was growing in the Lord. This group gives me a chance to pour into others as they also pour into me and that has been an answer to prayer for me.
I think life groups are just that, a place to get poured into and be challenged in the Lord. I think groups like these help young adults find community in a city where it might be hard to find others who love God.
